Fans of Covet by New York Times bestselling author Tracey Garvis Graves will be delighted by this novella-length sequel.

When Daniel Rush wakes up in the hospital after suffering a gunshot wound to the head, the last person he expects to see at his bedside is his ex-wife Jessica. Their marriage disintegrated after the death of their infant son Gabriel, and Daniel gave Jessie what he thought she wanted: the freedom to start over with someone else. But Daniel never updated his emergency contact information, and Jessie is the one who receives the call with the devastating news.

Daniel was Jessie’s one true love. Together since college, Jessie had dreams of raising a family with Daniel, and growing old together. When Gabriel died, Jessie buried those dreams with her beloved son and shut everyone out, including Daniel.

Daniel faces months of grueling rehabilitation and he’s going to need some help. Jessie is the last person anyone expects to volunteer, but this is her one chance to make amends, giving her and Daniel a shot at getting things right this time.

The road to recovery will be long and arduous. But with Jessie leading the way, Daniel just might be able to get his old life back.

Daniel knows how to covet. But can Jessie help him remember how to cherish?

*Please note that this is a novella-length sequel. Reading Covet before Cherish is highly recommended in order to enhance your reading pleasure.

Synopsis

My name was Dr. Erica Hill. I was a victim, then a witness, and then I ceased to exist altogether.

I may still be breathing, but stripped of my identity, I have long since stopped living. I am invisible, and my life depends on my ability to stay in the shadows. But he sees me. Slate Andrews is the embodiment of everything I have been taught to avoid. He’s rich and famous, and one image of him with a woman would earn millions for any paparazzi lucky enough to snap it. He has vowed to protect me with his life, yet he exposes me with his every breath. I should be stronger and walk away. I should disappear. But I’m terrified he would come after me. I’m on the run, determined not to take him down with me but absolutely unable to let him go. My name is Riley Peterson...at least for today. *Among The Echoes is a stand alone novel which contains material that may be offensive to some readers. Unbeloved - review

I absolutely love this series and Unbeloved was the perfect addition to it. This is the story of Dorothy, Jase and Hawk. As twisted and rough as it seems, this is a love triangle for the ages!

When Dorothy meets Jase, he is everything that she thought she wanted. Unfortunately, he is married, with children and really had no intention of leaving his wife. While Dorothy is waiting in the wings, Hawk catches more than her eye. Their story isn't perfect, it's painful.

“Life was made up of moments, big ones and little, the good and bad, dark and light. We never remembered the gray, the times in between, but instead only the moments that had the ability to transform us in some way, affect us so completely that the memory would be forever etched upon who we were, who we are, and who we would become.”
Madeline Sheehan, Unbeloved

I can't wait for the next book in this series.

Maybe Maby - review

Maybe Maby by Willow Aster was awesome!

Mabel Armstrong is losing it. Her mother died, her boyfriend broke up with her, she hates her boss....I could go on! With her depression and severe case of OCD, she doesn't realize all the positive things she has going on in her life.

Determined not to end up back in the "loony bin" Maby tries to reinvent herself though she believes that she will never be good enough. That is until Coen Brady comes along. Aaaahhhh, swoon! My new book boyfriend! He is hot, romantic and is in head over heels in love with Maby. He is ready to show her the world through his eyes and prove to her that she is more than her illness.

I loved their relationship and his family. Great characters and challenging storyline.
This book was the first Willow Aster book that I've read and it definitely will not be the last.

Puddle Jumping - review

Puddle Jumping was an all around great book worthy of 4.5 stars.

This unconventional love story was different and wonderful. A book about a boy with Aspergers and a girl who loves him for him.

"It begins with a boy and it ends with a boy, but what story doesn't?"- Amber Johnson

Colton Neely has always been different but he's also smart, talented, artistic and extraordinary. When Lilly Evans meets him as a kid they become friends but are separated due to her reckless ways. When Lilly and Colton are reunited years later, she is completely fascinated by him and they explore their friendship as it progresses to love.

“FRIENDSHIP: A true friend is one soul in two bodies" – Aristotle.

I really enjoyed this book. It was very heartfelt and completely different from anything I've read recently. It truly is a work of art!
