I read Hush about a month ago and I'm still disappointed in the final book of the Black Lotus Series.
After reading Bang I was completely addicted! To say that I loved Bang is an understatement. It was awesome, intense, different and kept you on the edge of your seat, not to mention the cliffhanger, ugh!
And then there was Echo. Good but nothing as good as Bang. I swear the series just went completely downhill slowly.
I hate to write a bad review especially since I love EK Blair but it just wasn't where I saw this series going at all. I can't wait to see what Ms. Blair delivers us next!

Bang - review
Wow. Just wow. This book blew me away! The description does not do it justice. Dark, disturbing, twisted, haunting...the list goes on!
Bang is a book like no other. It's about a woman seeking revenge on those that ruined her life complete with a few bumps along the way. It's emotionally horrifying storyline will suck you in, bleed you dry yet begging for more!
“Fairytale is nothing but a fancy word for a lie used to deceive little kids. A false perception of reality used to give them hope in a hopeless world.”
I truly didn't know what to expect when I read this book but it was absolutely amazing! E.K. Blair came out with a bang on this one! I can't wait for more of the Black Lotus series!
P.S. I can't wait to the the mastermind of this series tomorrow! Indies are Invading Philly :)

Fading - review
I have finally gotten around to this novel by E.K. Blair and I'm so happy that I did. Other than the fact that Candace annoyed me at the beginning she actually redeemed herself by the end.
"And though she be but little, she is fierce."
Fading is the story of Candace Parker and her brave, emotional tale of recovery and survival. Candace has not had an easy life. Her hopeful career choice in ballet is only one of the reasons that her parents are disappointed in her. Not being able to live up to their standards, she continues to do what she loves.
After a brutal attack, Ryan Campbell saves an unknown girl in an alley. As their paths cross again, the two build a friendship that is based on trust and time. (I must say that I love Ryan!!! What a great guy!) He truly falls for Candace not knowing that she is the girl he saved until they are in a relationship. Of course when Candace finds out that he knew her secret all along, her world is turned upside down again.
Fortunately, love and trust win and we get Ryan's story in Book #2, Falling from E.K. Blair. I can't wait to read it!
