If I Were You - Inside Out Trilogy (volume 1) - review

Book #1 of the Inside Out Trilogy

What a great start! Being called "Fifty Shades meets Basic Instinct" this book did not disappoint! Although it is NOTHING like Fifty!

Sara McMillin, high school English teacher on summer vacation begins reading the dark, erotic journals that were found in a storage unit that was bought by her best friend. They belong to a woman named Rebecca who works at an art gallery. Out of curiosity and to return the journals, Sara attends a showing at the gallery and she meets Mark, the attractive, dominant, intriguing owner who offers her a job filling in for Rebecca until she returns.  Sara also meets the ruggedly sexy, tattooed, and talented artist, Chris Merit which Sara has an instant connection to. (The sex is pretty hot too!) As their relationship progresses they discover that they share similar dark pasts and may have more in common than they think.

I'm looking forward to learning more about the mysterious Chris Merit and seeing how this story unfolds. Unfortunately, we are left with one big cliffhanger and a long wait for the next book, ugh!
